ART360º / FORT GREENE: A Day of Art + Discovery

Location

Central Point: Fowler Square
Fulton and Lafayette
Fort Greene, Brooklyn
Saturday, May 5, 2018 - 11:00am

ART360 / Fort Greene invites you to get acquainted with the vibrant, artistic neighborhood of Fort Greene, where there's virtually art at every turn! This is your day to discover the art and culture that surrounds us -- and some special activities we've planned to make it even more fun, like live window painting, free guided walking tours, artist exhibits, open house receptions and more.  Chart your course with the illustrated guide map below (click to enlarge), or pick one up at a Fort Greene FAB business, and plan your art-filled day!

Highlights include: two FREE Brooklyn Cultural District Walking Tours, co-presented with American Opera Projects (AOP) (advance registration required here); see live mannequins modeling the latest fashions at Moshood Creations (698 Fulton); take the kids to make their own sombreros at Habana Outpost (757 Fulton); check out the current exhibits at BRIC, Urban Glass, and MoCADA; and join a free guided tour of Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, which was founded in 1857! And much, much more! #ART360FG
