UPDATED: PRESENTATION SLIDES FROM OCTOBER 19, 2013 EVENT AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING.
FAB Alliance is proud to co-sponsor the 2nd Public Workshop for the FOWLER SQUARE REDESIGN. Based on community input from the design workshop held on April 24, 2013 — as well as input received through the community process of developing the (draft) FULTON STREET VISION PLAN and previous workshops regarding the installation of the current plaza created with temporary materials — the design team will present a preliminary plaza plan for review and community feedback, part of the ongoing public process for this project. (Click here for background information on the project and process)
Currently implemented with temporary materials, the public pedestrian plaza at Fulton Street and Lafayette Avenue in Fort Greene, “Fowler Square” is being redesigned and constructed as a permanent plaza.
The design team will be making a presentation at 12:00 noon. Stop by anytime between 11:00-1:00pm to view the renderings and schematic drawings and ask questions. Survey forms will be available for you to provide your feedback about the design ideas, layout, materials, lighting, plantings, usage and more.
